Fruit gives you Energy to dig for treasures. You can get fruits by gifting, digging for treasures or by harvesting on your main island.
When growing fruits in your garden, remember that the longer the fruit takes to harvest, the less energy per hour you will receive.
For instance:
- Raspberries grow in 1 hour and give 5 energy, giving 5 energy per hour.
- Strawberries give 10 energy in 4 hours, giving 2.5 energy per hour.
- Pineapples have the worst energy to hour ratio at just over 1 energy per hour.
If you are planning to not tend to your garden in 24 hours, then planting pineapples would be better than planting nothing.
The shorter-term fruits tend to be less expensive per energy.
